KIBERA SLUM FIRE

8 LITTLE BROTHERS AND SISTERS HAVE LOST THEIR HOMES

On June 12, a devastating fire tore through the Kibera Slum in Nairobi - Africa’s largest slum - leaving eight of our precious little brothers and sisters and their families with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Their homes are gone. Their school books reduced to ash. Their bedding, clothes, and daily essentials - all destroyed.

And yet, although these kids have lost everything - they are not alone. Each of the eight little brothers and sisters has an Alongsider walking with them through this heartbreak.

Now, we invite you to walk with them too. Your gift today will help rebuild what was lost - providing emergency food, bedding, clothes, and safe shelter. Please act now to bring comfort, dignity, and hope to these eight young lives. This is our chance to show them they’re not forgotten.

Here are the costs for the emergency response:

• $50 USD - provides an initial emergency food package for one child and their family

• $100 USD - provides an initial emergency food package and bedding for one child and their family

• $250 USD - provides an initial emergency food package for five children and their families

• $500 USD - provides an initial emergency food package and bedding for five children and their families

• $1000 USD - provides an initial emergency food package and bedding and shelter for five children and their families
